17 Apr 2024March 14th, 2024, marked a significant milestone for SD European Parts Centre as we proudly celebrated our Big Move from Horotiu at the official opening of our new premises, 177 Ellis Street, Frankton, Hamilton. Guests were welcomed into our workshop with enthusiasm and hospitality, complemented by a spread of delicious food.
Out front, greeting our guests were three shining examples of European engineering excellence. The 1993 BMW M3, a unicorn among cars, retains its complete originality, radiating in the iconic Dakar Yellow. Taylor Mitchell Racing's BMW E46 Spec Race car is parked up next, you will often find it on the track at the BMW Race Driver Series. Finally, you can witness the transformation of a humble BMW 318i, once a daily driver, now reborn into a custom, heavily modified masterpiece, equipped with every component sourced from an M3.
Our grand opening event wasn't just about celebrating; as the night unfolded, Justin's heartfelt speech captured the essence of our journey, reflecting on the dedication, hard work, and shared vision that brought us to this momentous occasion. Steve then led guests on a grand tour of our premises, showcasing our extensive new and second-hand parts inventory, and carefully designed workspace. From spatial awareness to the meticulously organised shelves, every detail had been carefully considered to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that our grand opening event had been a success. From the delicious food and captivating car displays to the inspiring speeches and informative tour, everyone had a great time networking, building relationships, and revelling in their shared passion for European cars.
