The Company:
SD European is an Independent European Service and Parts Specialist, that has been operating in the Waikato for over 30 years. Rapid growth means we are seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join our enthusiastic team. SD European has a great team environment with loyal clients and an excellent reputation. Our recently acquired service centre is in the heart of Te Rapa, close to shops and most residential areas.

The Position
Working in a team of 6 other specialist technicians you will be carrying out a large range of mechanical repairs and servicing on mostly European vehicles. You’ll be using advanced diagnostic scanning equipment, troubleshooting faults and carrying out WOF inspections (if qualified).

The Candidate:
You will be someone who can put their head down and get the job done when things get busy. You’ll be customer focused and take pride in your work. You’ll hold a relevant qualification and be able to carry out all mechanical repairs unsupervised, with an understanding of electronic systems and diagnostic scanning equipment.

Relevant mechanical qualification - European car experience a bonus but is not essential
Must have excellent work ethic, pride in work and reliability
The ability to work in a team environment
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
WOF inspector certificate is an advantage but if not training will be given
